30 Job Vacancies in Guruvayur Devaswom

Guruvayur Temple Devaswom has invited applications from Hindu believers for temporary job vacancies. The appointment period will be for six months, from June 5, 2025, to December 4, 2025.

Job Positions & Eligibility

🔹 Position: Sopanam Watchman

Vacancies: 15
Salary: ₹18,000 per month
Qualification: Must have passed 7th grade.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit with no disabilities.
- Only men can apply.
- A Medical Fitness Certificate from a government doctor of at least the rank of Assistant Surgeon is mandatory.
- Must have good eyesight.
Age Limit: As of January 1, 2025, applicants must be between 30 and 50 years old.

🔹 Position: Female Security Guard

Vacancies: 15
Salary: ₹18,000 per month
Qualification: Must have passed 7th grade.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit with no disabilities.
- A Medical Fitness Certificate from a government doctor of at least the rank of Assistant Surgeon is mandatory.
- Must have good eyesight.
Age Limit: As of January 1, 2025, applicants must be between 55 and 60 years old.

Additional Information

Applications from existing female security guards and sopanam watchmen will not be considered.
The application form is available at the Devaswom Office for ₹118 (₹100 + 18% GST) during working hours until March 18, 5:00 PM.
The Medical Fitness Certificate must be original and valid for at least six months. If the certificate does not mention the doctor’s qualification, registration number, and date of issue, the application will be rejected.
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories can obtain the application form free of cost upon submission of a valid caste certificate.
No age relaxation will be provided for these positions.
