The Guruvayur Municipality has proudly reopened the newly renovated Indira Gandhi Town Hall, inaugurated by District Collector Arjun Pandyan. The grand ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Municipal Chairman M. Krishnadas and Guruvayur Devaswom Chairman Dr. V.K. Vijayan. With a renovation cost of ₹70 lakhs, the Town Hall now features a fully updated interior with a modern stage and disabled-friendly facilities.
As part of the inauguration, an awareness program on anti-drug abuse was conducted by Suvrathakumar, receiving great appreciation from the attendees. Special honors were given to councilors Bindu, Ajithkumar, and Ajitha Dineshan for achieving 100% tax collection in their respective wards.
